The Incorporated Association of Organist’s Eastern Region Open Day 2025 will take place here at OLEM on Saturday 31 May, 10.30am - 4.30pm.
As a result of a very generous gift, we have acquired a new two manual pipe organ that has been installed in our Music (Choir) Room. The organ, which will be used for practise and teaching, is dedicated in loving memory of Andrew Johnson.
Andrew was a faithful parishioner and Founder / Chair of the OLEM Music Trust who did so much to support and encourage the development of the Music Department over many years.

Father Dominic White, OP
On Monday 9th December, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the Choir directed by Associate Director of Music, Sam Barrett, gave the first performance of a new Mass by Father Dominic White, OP, Prior of Blackfriars, Oxford. Father Dominic, an accomplished pianist and organist, has had his choral compositions performed by the Choirs of Clare College, Cambridge and the Ordinariate Church in London's west end.
The Mass was preceded by a public 'conversation' between Father Dominic and Nigel Kerry, Director of Music, which enabled parishioners to discover how the new Mass came to be composed and the inspiration behind it.
The Song School is looking to recruit more members for our Junior (7-12) and our Youth Choir (13-19). These two choirs provide a wonderful education in singing and general musicianship but also an opportunity to experience the Church's rich treasury of sacred music and, of course, provide a great opportunity to make new friends working together as a team.
Please contact the Director of the Song School, Naomi MacLeod Jones, to arrange an audition via olemsongschool@rcdea.org.uk
